Return & Refund Policy

Damaged or defective books. If your book arrives damaged or with a printing defect, email us at support@dreamskc.org within 14 days of delivery with a photo, and we'll send a replacement at no cost to you. You won't need to return the damaged copy.

Wrong or missing items. If your order arrives incorrect or incomplete, contact us within 14 days and we'll make it right.

Change of mind. Because our books are printed to order, we're unable to accept returns for change of mind. We encourage you to review the product details and reading level before ordering to make sure it's the right fit.

Pre-orders. Pre-order payments reserve your copy and, where included, your event access. Pre-orders may be canceled for a full refund any time before your order ships on or after August 5, 2026. Once shipped, the standard policy above applies.

Event tickets. Tickets included in the KC Founding Reader Bundle are non-refundable but transferable — if you can't attend, you're welcome to pass them to another family, and your signed book still ships to you.

Refunds. Approved refunds and replacements are processed to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear.

Bulk & purchase orders. For classroom, school, and district orders, please contact us directly to arrange returns or replacements.
